Bring those arms up. Bend at the elbows. Here's where it gets tricky because some people forget that your hands are supposed to be facing the roof, because you're raising the roof. I don't know, some people are like, here, that isn't raising the roof. You aren't raising anything here. You're raising a celebration, but you're not raising the roof. You want to make sure your triceps get a little workout. So flip those hands back, make sure that they're facing the roof, just in case it falls down because you're having so much fun. Bend those knees and push it up, two, three, four, and double-time, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. And you feel it. It's easy. Honestly, if there's any party dance that you can do and get a workout, this is it, raising the roof. Make sure those elbows stay parallel, arms parallel to the floor I mean, and pick that roof up, and you are good to go. Now what you need is a good song to raise the roof to. You got your foundation, your knees are bent, your back is straight, your arms are parallel to the floor, your hands are flexed, and you're pushing the roof up, side to side.
