Transcript

Shepherd: Why are the Quarians masked?

Robot Voice: They are viewed for your pleasure. You see them as you know them now. You must [inaudible 00:00:13] this data cluster to continue. This data cluster contains information time-stamped 290 years ago. It is still capable of serving.

Man: You see? It's ignoring all set down commands.

Geth: Please specify if it has failed assigned tasks. We will re-program.

Tali: Well, let's take a look.

Geth: Creator, this unit is ready to serve. What has it done wrong? What?

Quarian: [inaudible 00:01:10], cut the audio.

Robot voice: You may proceed to the last data cluster. Accessing data cluster.

Quarian 2: We've got escaped Geth! They're pinned!

Quarian 3: Open fire!

Quarian 4: One's [inaudible 00:02:14]. Watch it!

Shepherd: So, who won?

Robot voice: The platform arming itself was an agricultural unit. By opening fire and attacking Creators, it saved simpler domestic Geth following it. The creators were determined to destroy our hardware. We were determined to survive. [inaudible 00:02:35].

Female: Hello, Commander. Are you there?

Female 2: Have you come under attack, Admiral Rahm?

Female: The Geth squadrons have arrived, but something is amiss. Half of their fighters have stopped functioning. We will continue to hold out, as long as we can.

Shepherd: How we doin?

Robot voice: One room remains. There is...[inaudible 00:03:28].

Shepherd: What's wrong?

Robot voice: Infection programs are increasing. We have reached [indaudible 00:03:34]. Warning; the reaper infection has learned to self-replicate.

Shepherd: You mean, it grows back?

Robot voice: Yes. However, disrupting vulnerable points in the infection may slow down it's replication. We require access to [inaudible 00:04:27] slow the replication speed. You must search for a vulnerable point in the infection. Disrupting it will slow the infection's ability to replicate. There is a vulnerable point further along the infection. Target this spot to slow it's growth toward the data cluster.

There is a vulnerable point on the infection leading to the data cluster. Disrupt this spot, it will slow re-growth long enough to access the data cluster. Accessing data.

Quarian 5: Out of the way!

Quarian 6: You can't do this to them!

Quarian 5: I said, step away from the Geth!

Quarian 6: This is insane! We need the Geth. You can't just destroy them for asking...

Quarian 5: Time's up! Throw her in with the others.

Shepherd: Looks like the war wasn't popular with everyone.

Robot voice: A few Creators attempted mediation. They failed. We cannot establish a connection without access to this data cluster. Shepherd, Commander; target the vulnerable points of the infection to slow the replication speed. You must search for a vulnerable point in the infection. Disrupting it will slow the infection's ability to replicate. There is a vulnerable point further along the infection. Target this spot to slow its growth toward the data cluster. [inaudible 00:09:30] period, during which the Creators declared martial law.

McGarr: [inaudible 00:09:35] Geth units and come out of the Safe House. This is your final warning!

Geth 2: Creator Mcgarr, this unit does not understand. It has not taken part in hostilities.

McGarr: It doesn't matter, [inaudible 00:09:47]. I need to get you out of here.

Geth 2: This conflict exceeds Creator's safety parameters. We will surrender our hardware, if it ends hostilities.

McGarr: No, it's all right. We'll go back to the access tunnels and...

Geth 2: Creator McGarr, what is your status? Creator McGarr?

Robot voice: The Creators never formally ended hostilities. They've been officially at war with the Geth for 219 years.
