Touching heels is a very simple exercise that you can do in the water. You can do it with or without weights, and you can do it in the shallow end or the deep end of the pool.
What you do is you take one arm, reach behind you, tap your heel, and then the other side. Okay? So, when you're using weights it's a little bit harder, and when you're in the deep water it's even harder.
In the deep water, you're going to feel like you're losing your balance a little bit, so you want to make sure that your core is tight, keep your head out of the water, and you reach for those heels.
Don't worry if you can't touch your heel. As long as you reach for them that's all that counts. This is working your legs, your core, your arms, and your shoulders. So it's a great workout, and very easy to do in the shallow end, the deep end, or with or without weights.
That is touching heels.
