When you are doing water aerobics make sure that you go at your own pace and intensity level. If you are not used to going in the deep end you can always stay in the shallow end. Just tell your instructor that. Make sure that you at least know how to tread water if you do go into the deep end without a weight belt, just to be safe. If you feel like you are too tired, you can't breath, make sure you tell someone right away. They can get you out of the pool. Another thing to keep In mind when you are doing water aerobics is to breathe. A lot of people hold their breath when they exercise, so especially when you are in the water that's very important so whenever you are doing anything, flutter kicks, make sure you're always breathing and exhaling. If you are going in the deep end make sure you wear a weight belt, okay, to keep you afloat. Also another activity you could keep in mind is when you're coming into the pool, don't run. It's very slippery on the pool deck so you don't want to have a fall or fall into the pool. So keep all those tips in mind when you are doing water aerobics. You want to be safe and that's the most important thing.
