How to Make Vegan Sushi

I am going to show you how to make vegan sushi. You are going to need seaweed, 1/2 sheet of seaweed and any vegetable you like. I have here shiso leaf, avocado and cucumber. The rough side up. Wet your hand and spread rice on the seaweed.

The vegetable sushi is traditional, so sushi is not only raw fish. People think, 'Oh, I don't like sushi!' because it is raw fish. It is not. You can certainly enjoy with vegetables.

I am feeding the rice to the corner of the seaweed because I am going to make it inside out. You can sprinkle sesame seed here if you want to or without it is fine. I have avocado. Overlap a little bit so you make sure each slice is going to have enough avocado and cucumber and shiso leaf. Take the stems off and cut in half length-wise. The shiso is a Japanese herb. It tastes like a combination of basil and mint.

Now pick up the bamboo with your thumb and hold the ingredients inside. Make sure everything is inside. I am cutting the roll. It has got the (?).
