Alright, next thing we're going to learn is the kick cut. It's really easy to do. It's a great move, and it's just a nice, quick way to cut the cards. You can do it while you're talking to the spectator, while your explaining a trick, and this is how it's going to look, just like that. You can do it as many times as you can, kind of, fit cards into it.
Basically what happens is, you start with your thumb. Right there, on the back of the deck, right? Closest side to you. You start with your middle finger, right there, on the outer side of the deck.
And all your going to do is, you're literally going to kick the top portion of the cards, out a little packet, with your index finger. Your index finger's going to literally just kick them out. As you do that, you're going to take the cards, right there, into this grip. See how my index finger's on top there?
And you're just going to literally do that over again. You could do this with just two quick cuts, just like that, or you could do three to four, or you could do three to four.
Just like so. It's all going to depend on how many cards you kick off each time, but it's a great move.
There's a couple of nice things you can do with it, then I'll show you in some of these tricks we'll be learning, and if you just give it a little bit of practice, you should be able to pick this one up fairly quickly.
Again, middle finger right there on top, thumb right there on the back, and all you're going to do is kick the cards one by one, and it's a quick way to cut up a deck.
