I am going to show you how to apply eyeliner in a very natural way. With Asian eyes, because of the hooded eyelid, I don't really like to use pencil eyeliner. It tends to have a waxy consistency, and therefore can kind of melt off the eye.
What I like to do, instead, is actually use dark eyeshadow. Black or brown. And then a slanted brush.
So the first thing I like to do is dip the brush in the shadow. And then, if you're doing this at home, you just kind of want to look down at yourself in the mirror. And then you just want to push it right in to the lash line. As close to the lash line as you can possibly get. You don't want to drag it. Otherwise powder is just going to kind of go everywhere. Push it in, or you can push, and swivel. Push, and swivel. Push, and swivel. And by pushing it in, you're really stamping the color into the skin, and it's going to last a lot longer. And you're going to do the same thing underneath. You can do this by looking into your mirror at home, and just kind of push it into the lash line, right into those bottom lashes. And connecting the top, and the bottom together. Sometimes I like to take a q-tip, or just my fingertip, and run it underneath, just to make it look more natural.
And now, moving on to the other side. So on this next side, I'm just taking a brush, the angled brush, and pressing it right into her lash line. And that way it just kind of has a better staying power. And again, you can do this yourself in the mirror without looking up. You can just sort of tip your chin down, and then you're able to angle the brush up yourself.
And that is a really, really easy, natural eyeliner look. It's perfect for any occasion.
