No matter where you're from, no matter how old you are, you've got to have a good skin care routine, and this starts with a great cleanser.

If your skin is dry you might want to try to avoid a foaming cleanser. If you're skin is not dry then you can go ahead and suds up all you want. Once you have all your makeup off then it's nice to take a Q tip, dip it in a little bit of makeup remover and just run it along your whole lash line to get all of the makeup off from your eyes, especially if you were using a liner or water proof makeup throughout the day. This assures that you are going to get every little last smidgen off.

Afterwards, you want to maybe tone your face or put a serum on and of course follow with moisturizer. If it's during the day make sure that moisturizer had SPF of at least 15 on it. Then, before you start your makeup in the morning, put on a primer. That will help the foundation go on smoothly and make it last throughout the day. So you can put your moisturizer on but it's not quite the same thing as your primer.

So just remember that your moisturizer and your primer are two separate products. Everyone asks me this question. The moisturizer comes first with the SPF and after that the primer comes. Then you go ahead and you put your makeup on as you wish.
