Max Payne 3 Walkthrough Part 6 - Chapter 3

Check out part 6 and shoot up Brazil in this walkthrough of Rockstar Games' new drug fueled shooter, Max Payne 3.

Man: Well, what choice do we have?

Man 2: We have never paid out ransoms before. But I don't know, I don't like the feeling of this. What about you, Max?

Max: I don't know, I'm no expert on hostage negotiations. I-I know people who are, but they're in America.

Man: We don't have time for America!

Man 3: [inaudible 00:00:27]. It's not like I don't have the money to pay.

Man 2: Father made a lot of money. We have always been targets. We all know that. But much as that pains me, I don't see we have a choice. Maybe after we pay, we find out who did it. We have them...well, we all know what I'm saying.

Max: Who do you think it targeting your family?

Man: Haters!

Man 3: [inaudible 00:00:50]. Life in this country is not easy, you can see that. I have tried to do business the right way, but that's not always possible. Of course I made enemies, but I've also paid a lot of bribes. I have no idea.

Man 2: It's probably that street gang, trying to get a...

Man 3: I don't know. People I know have tried to reach out to this group, Comando Sombra. They're not from any of the [inaudible 00:01:19] around here. They're linked to the drug business. What have I got to do with drugs? Nothing.

Man 2: Everybody loves money.

Man 3: I want my wife back.

Max: We can take the money to them.

Thug: [inaudible 00:01:52]. [inaudible 00:01:58].

Man 4: Here they come.

Max: Yep.

Thug: [inaudible 00:02:05].

Man 4: Hey, put the gun down. Put down your gun.

Thug: [inaudible 00:02:08].

Man 4: Slow, slow, slow.

Thug: [inaudible 00:02:12].

Max: What's he saying?

Man 4: Open the bag, show him it's full of money.

Thug: [inaudible 00:02:21].

Max: Easy, pal. Easy. Apparently, someone up in the nosebleeds didn't like the game we were playing. The money was gone. And I was next, if I didn't get off that field. The bullets came from long range.

Man 4: Come on! Move, Max!

Max: They were well-armed professionals and I was starting to feel decidedly amateur.

Man 4: You okay?

Max: Yeah.

Man 4: All right, let's go. There's gotta be a First Aid kit around here somewhere.

Max: I'd been shot more times than I could remember, but this felt different. Maybe fate was sending me a message, trying to tell me my luck was about to run out. Or maybe I just severed an artery and was bleeding out like any number of fools who got shot playing with guns. Either way, I was failing fast. Christ! At least one of us had a gun now. That raised our chances of survival all the way from "nil" to "slim".

Man 4: Come on, move it, man! Move it!

Max: That guy with the bag must have got hit. He's bleeding all over the place.

Man 4: He's not the only one. Come on, I think he went this way.

Max: So, this was it. My easy retirement money. My blood-stained 401K. A chance to drink for free, while chaperoning socialites around town and making sure the poor people didn't get too close. The brochure sure didn't mention any of this shit.

Man 4: Man! Don't give up on me now, bro! Hold on, wait here a second!

Max: Not a problem.

Man 4: [inaudible 00:04:45].

Max: Ow! Whoa, looks like I missed all the fun.

Man 4: Easy there, grandpa. Come on. I'm getting flashbacks to that wedding we worked in Aruba.

Max: Yeah, back to the good old days. When I thought I might actually like this job,

Max: Dumb sport.

Man 4: Hey, careful, my friend. That's blasphemy in this town. You okay, bro?

Max: Never better. Who's idea was this, anyway?

Man 4: Yeah, I wonder... is it bad?

Max: Could be a lot worse.

Man 4: Here.

Max: Thank you.

Man 4: Right. Here we go. Pull the sleeve up, come on. All right, don't be a pussy.

Max: So, what now?

Man 4: We make sure that the right clowns get the money.

Max: Who the hell you think that was that tried to gate-crash our little wine and cheese party?

Man 4: I have no idea. This is Sao Paulo, brother. It could be anyone.

Max: Anyone with access to high-powered sniper rifles and trained killers.

Man 4: That's pretty much anyone.

Max: Great. So, what now, Einstein?

Man 4: Well, I guess we get these Comando Sombra their money. And make sure they know we did not try to trick them. Otherwise, Fabiana...she won't come back in such good shape.

Thug 2: [inaudible 00:06:37].

Man 4: Come on, come on!

Thug 2: [inaudible 00:06:48].
