Shaving is a bit of a controversy, depending upon where it is on your body, and what is the hair growth or regrowth from it.
First of all, if we're shaving our body, when it comes to the legs and the bikini area, exfoliate the area first. Then, take a sharp razor like this that has multiple blades on it. If you have coarse hair, make sure it's a new razor. Then exfoliate. I, personally, like to use soap. I don't like anything with oil in it. Shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth. On the bikini area, take a look at the area when you're shaving it because hair grows in different directions on the bikini area.
A big controversy - do I shave my face? I, personally, like shaving the face if you have some fine hair there. The reason being, I think it's also an exfoliant. Some people are completely against it. The biggest myth is that it grows back coarser. Hair is not growing back coarser when you shave it. It appears that way, and the reason being, it's the same thing as if you get a haircut. It's growing back at the same time and the edges are blunt. Also, you have to be aware that it may look a little bit darker because, if you haven't removed that hair in a long time, it's been bleached by the sun. Those are the downsides.
I like the whole exfoliating of the face. Why do we think men look so young all the time? It's because they're always exfoliating their face.
