This video is how to cut bangs. What you need to do is start with a natural part in and then from that point you take a triangular section for the front. Once you've established that, I'm going to take a straight line across and pin this out of the way. I'm going to start just holding it gently between my fingers, not too much tension because you don't want it to jump up afterwards and then creating the shape. I often find that it's find flattering to just curve the edges which sit right on the cheek bone rather than going too high. You look a little surprised all the time.
Same on the other side. Let the hair fall exactly where it falls naturally. Don't over-direct it one way or the other, and just cut your desired shape. Next, let your final section come down. If the hair is very thick, you might want to do this in three sections. Again, comb the hair down so it's falling exactly off its natural base and then just follow your guideline. Not too much tension. I'm just coming slightly down towards the corners. Same thing this side.
One thing to bear in mind when you're cutting bangs is the length. The shorter you go (i.e. above the eyebrow) the much bolder the statement, and as the hair, you cut it a little bit longer sort of resting on eyebrow or below, the overall effect of bangs is going to be a lot softer. That's how you cut bangs.
