When you embark on your journey to learn more about Kenjutsu, and you make the decision to enroll in a Kenjutsu school, it's important to look at your teacher's experience, who their teachers are. It's also important to look at their movement, and to evaluate the future for yourself. Because if you spend a lot of time with this particular teacher you're going to be emulating their movements and habits. So, you'll want to choose wisely a teacher who hopefully has learned a great deal of the movements and habits of a classical Japanese Kenjutsu school. So that you get the right and the proper feel for moving with a katana. As it's a particular type of skill that is been perfected only in Japanese martial arts. Please be careful when looking at the various teachers out there and choose wisely.
