It's also important to look at their movement, and to evaluate the future for yourself. Because if you spend a lot of time with this particular teacher you're going to be emulating their movements and habits. So, you'll want to choose wisely a teacher who hopefully has learned a great deal of the movements and habits of a classical Japanese Kenjutsu school. So that you get the right and the proper feel for moving with a katana. As it's a particular type of skill that is been perfected only in Japanese martial arts.
