The next technique from our Long Fist Form is Hook, Turn, Palm. In the form, right after our pressed spear, is hook, turn, and palm. For self defense, we're going to demonstrate a little bit differently. So, nice and slow first. Our attacker steps in with a punch. The defender blocks up. As he blocks up with his elbow, he immediately strikes at the same time delivering a palm strike right to the ear.
One more time, nice and slow. As he steps in and attacks, he's going to step back. Blocking up with the elbow and palm striking straight in. Let's do it full speed.
Good. Can we do that one more time from another angle?
And just turn and switch places. Do from the other side.
