Hi. I'm Sifu Romain, here to talk to you about Iron Body Training.
Iron Body Training is an ancient practice in Chinese martial arts, and goes back many thousands of years. In Iron Body Training, typically the student will start with conditioning various parts of his body so that it is resistant to blows of all different types.
In this training, the student may start out with body conditioning or body toughening techniques. Then the student will learn some breathing or chi gong techniques where he could send his internal energy to those parts of his body to make them actually stronger.
In addition, typically they'll use some kind of topical ointment or liniment. Sometimes we use what's called Dit Da Jow to help heal the area properly after training.
