I get asked a lot how to style bangs if you have curly hair.
I have a personal philosophy about that. If you have curly hair that's curly as my hair or curlier, you're not allowed to straighten your bangs. There's no quicker way to date yourself than to have curly hair with straight bangs. It evokes this whole mall bang era where we were all doing that.
So what you want to do is if you have wavy hair I think a bang is beautiful if it's straightened. But straightened so that it just blends right in.
So, when you're getting a fringe I would definitely suggest if you're going to go for a full bang, go with a bang with a soft rounded edge so that everything blends together.
Or if you're going to do a side bang maybe keep it long enough where you could actually wear it curly altogether. And then it will just blend in with the rest of the hair.
But if you do have like beachy waved hair sometimes the juxtaposition of a straighter, bolder full bang would be really, really beautiful within that style.
Kind of like Alexa Chung. How she has just soft modern waves but she has a pretty full bang. Or she has had a full bang in the past.
So, those are my suggestions if you have bangs and curly hair on how to style them.
