I'm just going to have Casey tilt her head to the side, going to get all the hair going in one direction, and then I'm just going to lift the root a bit and place the diffuser against the head. Now you would hold it here until your head got warm and then you would move it. That's it. It's that easy. There's no need to, you know, we think we have to twirl the diffuser. None of that. Just literally lift it up, put it in there, keep it there tight against your head until your head gets a little bit warm. Now that she's flipped upside down you'll just continue blow-drying like this.
Alright, so I've just finished with a cool blast of air throughout the whole head. It's about 90 percent dry now. That wettest part is back here behind the nape. You can go ahead and flip your head back. Perfect. And you can see what precision it gives to the curls. Then you're going to want to tussle through the hair. Don't be afraid about disturbing the hair too much because everything that we did up until this point made the hair really, really strong.
So, I'm going to start, it's just like you're massing you scalp. We're just trying to give it a more natural appearance, a little less Shirley Temple. Now I finish this up with either a little gloss to seal up the ends or a little leave-in conditioner, and that is how to blow-dry curly hair.
