Learn about people born under the Pisces sign from internationally-known astrologer Joanna Martine Woolfolk in this Howcast video.
Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and some astrologers feel that Pisces therefore is an old soul. Pisces indeed is drawn to the spiritual life, not necessarily religious life, but Pisces wants to know what lies beyond. Pisces is also a dreamer, very sensitive, very giving, is drawn to creative work, artistic work. In many ways the Piscean isn’t suited or doesn’t feel he or she is suited to the rough and tumble world of commerce and making money and being someone who is trying to be famous. Piscean really wants to find something deeper.
I would say that Pisces looks for a soul mate and it must feel that the person he or she gives himself or herself to is someone who is also on the same goals of finding something deeper in life, something that’s more important, something that lasts, even if it lasts beyond this life. Many Pisceans believe in Karma, believe that there is more to come, and believe that we are destined, they believe a lot in destiny, that we’re destined to meet and fall in love with one particular soul mate. That’s what the Piscean looks for.
The Piscean’s goals in life are to experience deeply, to connect deeply, and to feel that they have a finger if you will on something that’s beyond just the here and now, that there is a higher being, or there is a heaven or a cosmos that they must understand and that they are going towards. I know that makes them sound kind of weird and off the wall, but Pisceans are not. They are wonderful friends. It is sometimes called the sign of sacrifice and one of the Piscean lessons in life is to learn to give and to nurture and to love other people, but not sacrifice themselves in doing that.
