Virgo and Scorpio can make a lovely romance to begin with, and if they are willing to compromise down the line, they also can make something that's very permanent and stable and satisfying on very deep levels, not just sexually satisfying, but satisfying their emotional needs. Virgo is an earth sign, and in astrology, earth stands for stability, and needing an ordered life, needing a life in which it counts for something, where the Virgo can create something that is permanent. Scorpio is a water sign, and water stands for emotion. In Scorpio, the waters of its emotion are really very, very deep. Like, still waters run deep. The waters are still in that a lot of Virgo is in the interior. A lot of the feelings of the Scorpio remains hidden because the Scorpio does not want to be vulnerable. Both have in common the fact that they are interior people. Virgo draws its emotions inward, Virgo has a reserve. A certain elegance of spirit, and yet, a quality of don't come too near, don't touch the real me until I'm safe. Scorpio shares that with Virgo, because Scorpio must be safe, otherwise it gives nothing of itself outward. And so they find in each other that little safe haven. They can create a beautiful life. Scorpio is more the aggressor, if you will, sexually. Virgo is certainly willing to follow, and be a wonderful student. And then, as they go deeper into the relationship and it becomes also a friendship in which they know they can depend on each other, love blooms into a deep companionship, and a life in which each of them makes something that is permanent, stable, and successful, because they find in each other the support that each needs to make that successful life together.
