One request that always comes in is for a finish, which is granite, which has many, many applications, obviously for counter tops and sometimes for blocks of granite, which could be in office spaces or very big foyers. So, these are some of the granite samples that I have. This is more like a baltic brown.
And then another favorite is porphyry, which is another kind of granite, more like the cashmere that's found here. So that's also used with or possibly done with mostly a sponge or a rag, and then a glaze or paint is spattered on top, giving you all the little ink spots that you do find, naturally occurs in granite. And here we have the Labrador emerald pearl, which is one of the more expensive granites on the market, and that has little pearlized sections, which are very desirable. So those are some of the granites.
Also, there's another one that I did do, which really forms the background for three herons, which are actually painted in verdigris , and also they have a Trompe-l'œil effect.
So these are some of the applications of granite.
