When it comes to texting and understanding guys, one of the things you need to know first off, it don't overwhelm.
Guys like it simple and when you text too much information, it's going to turn a guy off.
Now I kind of have a rule of thumb that I've written about in my book, The Relationships Men Commit to and Why, and that is for every time he initiates three texts, you can initiate a text.
Often times women want to get the guy's attention, so they're constantly texting and you're taking away his ability to chase you. Give him the space to come to you.
So my rule of thumb when it comes to texting is let him initiate three times to every one time that you initiate to get the conversation going.
Keep it short and sweet. Don't get into too long of a dialogue, and especially about emotional feelings when it comes to texting. Because often times that can be misinterpreted.
And the last thing you want is a text that goes awry and ends up sabotaging your relationship. Keep it short and simple. Let him initiate. That's the best way to approach texting.
