Hi. My name is Katie Rosenhouse. I'm a pastry chef and culinary consultant living in New York City. I started out about eight years ago at the French Culinary Institute in New York City and since then I've worked at pretty great fine dining restaurants, from Bouley, Le Cirque, The Russian Tea Room, Country, Olana and most recently the David Burke restaurant group.
Since leaving restaurants about a year ago I've been doing a whole slew of projects from working on recipe development for cookbooks, consulting for start-up businesses in New York City and beyond. I am the culinary consultant on a show called Sweet Genius on the Food Network, which everyone should watch all the time. It's awesome. I also won the show Season 1. I won $10,000, which was awesome.
