How to Do a Krav Maga Outside Defense against Punches, Part 2

Learn how to continue an outside defense against punches from Krav Maga Master Instructor Rhon Mizrachi in this Howcast video, part two of two.

We're doing an outside block for a right punch to the face. We're starting from a low basic stand, not a regular basic stand, and here's the block.

Again.

I move out of the line of the strike by coming in with my head toward his midsection. I'm going to elevate my hand, just to make sure that the punch indeed passed me.

Obviously I have to strike at the same time, because I'm moving to the live side of my opponent. From here, I'm going to continue with another knee toward the groin, and open up the gap.

Basic stand, take it low. We're going on one. Hand comes up, head goes down. Again.

One, back.

With a punch.

Once you punch, bring the hand back to you. Two, we're going to grab the shoulder and attack with the knee.
