Transcript

Hey, I'm Layla, and I'm going to show you the Seated Butterfly stretch. This stretch is really great for the inner thigh groin area, to stretch that area out really well. You're going to sit down on the floor on a mat, bringing the soles of your feet together, just like this. You're going to bring your feet back, your heels back, as close as you can to your body, grabbing onto those toes, and pull yourself in a little bit here, so you're really opening up that inner thigh groin area here as you come forward, just like this.

You want to hold it here for about ten to 20 seconds, really get that stretch in there, opening up that inner thigh area. You can also just sit up nice and tall and shake out those legs this way to loosen it up if this stretch is too much. Sometimes, if you have really tight inner thighs, this stretch is a little bit too much. Just sitting up tall here, holding onto those toes, and fluttering those legs like a butterfly, up and down, just like that, to really loosen up that inner thigh area. That's how you do the Seated Butterfly Stretch.
