How to Do the Mach 5 Yo-Yo Trick

Learn how to do the Mach 5 yo-yo trick from four-time US National Yo-Yo champion and 2006 World Yo-Yo champion Paul Yath in this Howcast video.

The next trick is called the Mach Five. And this trick is really cool looking, and it utilizes different tricks I've showed you earlier, such as Split the Atom and the Split Bottom mount. So basically, you have to have a really long sleeper for this. You do the Split Bottom mount, and you do two underpasses with your left hand. So you go one, and go all the way around, keeping your finger in the string, and two.

And once you get there, you basically keep the yo-yo in the middle. You do rotations, and it looks like the yo-yo is floating. You can do as many as you can until the yo-yo slows down. To do the dismount, you just take your finger out, and launch it right back up. When doing the rotations, make sure you keep the string tight while the yo-yo's in the middle. This way, the yo-yo won't drop. Like that. If you keep it tight, the yo-yo should stay in the middle. You can do different combos and variations from the Mach Five. Into the Split the Atom, into the Brain Twister, and dismount. And that's the Mach Five.
