All right, guys. Now we're doing core training exercises for kickboxing. First, we're going to start off with a toss. I'm going to stand here and I'm going to toss Melissa the ball. Sit up first. Stay right there. Toss her ball, she's going to go all the way down, tap the floor, come up and throw it right at my chest. Good, and again, and throw, good. Every time. Notice how she's breathing out.
Now we're going to go a little faster. Go down, touch and making sure you have a good grip on the ball. Don't let the ball slam into your face, all right?. Down, up. Good, two more, down, up, good and last one, good. This is just a good way to incorporate some upper body coordination with your abs and your upper body.
Now stay right there, sit straight up. Now we're going to do more of a twisting motion, which is really important in kickboxing, okay? You're going to face me with both hands, both hands are right there. Good. You're going to catch the ball, rotate, tap the floor and right to my chest. Good. Make sure you breathe out every single time. Go and breathe out. Throw it, breathe out. Good, twisting as hard as you can.
Guys, this exercise is all about twisting. It's not about the arms. Go, five, four, three, two, and one. So obviously you'll do both sides. You'll go on each side. It's all about the twisting guys, like I said. It's not about the arms. These are really good movements to help you kick, punch faster, all right? And those were some core exercises for kickboxing.
