Learn how to do a half up, half down long hair updo from Pierre Michel Salon style director Jerome Lordet in this Howcast hair tutorial.
For the half up make sure you get the right texture to the hair. Smooth out your hair especially in the hairline so you don’t get frizzy hair.
If you want to have the feeling of still having long hair without hair falling in your face, you might want to just take a small triangle, maybe from the middle of your eyes to the other middle of your eyes.
Do a slight teasing of the roots. Now just smooth the hair with a brush or a comb. Make sure your volumes are right.
Now bringing those pieces, keep it down. You’ll get a feeling of having most of your hair down and still look a little bit like you have your hair up.
And that’s it!
