What is a zombie walk? In its most true sense, in its purest sense, a zombie walk consists of a group of people dressing up like zombies and walking from one location to another for no other reason than to walk from one location to another dressed up like zombies. They're not promoting a movie. They're not promoting a business. They're not trying to make money. They're simply just doing it for the pure enjoyment of it.
Personally, I don't really understand why someone would want to go to a zombie walk because I can't understand why you would want to be in a place where you can't tell the difference between a zombie and someone dressed up like a zombie. Zombie walks have been growing in popularity every year and they just continue to get bigger and bigger with the World Record zombie walk being broken almost every year.
The first ever zombie walk took place in Toronto in 2003 when seven people dressed up like zombies and walked from one cemetery to another. Zombie walks are spreading like the zombie infection that they are pretending to be. From Toronto to Portland, Maine to Mexico City, to the Philippines, they're all over the place and they continue to get bigger and bigger and bigger with many thousands of people engaging in these walks in any given location at a time, millions of people around the world participating in zombie walks every year.
