He wants to create space so he can hit me. If there's no space, he can't hit me. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to get an under hook with my right arm. Here I'm going to grab the back of his thigh. When he posts up to hit me I'm going to swing this leg around. So he's going to post up, and I'm going to swing here, turning my back to him.
Now I'm going to face away from him, because he can't hit me in the back of the head. It's against the rules. From here what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my right leg that's in between his two legs to push him over my shoulder. At the same time, I'm going to roll over my shoulder here. I'm going to go back to my rear naked grip, grab his heel and I'm going to turn it towards the ceiling, as I hip in and I finish the knee bar. That's how you do a knee bar from half guard.
