All right, guys. So now what we're going to do is we're going to go over how to hit a knee bar from scarf position. So I'm in my opponent's scarf. The scarf is nice and tight. I have my hand around his legs, grabbing my thigh. I have his other arm and I'm pulling his elbow towards me. From here it's a strong position. I can punch him from here, throw a lot of strikes and push elbow, pop an elbow.

So what he's going to try to do, he's going to figure a bunch of ways he's going to try to escape. The most common is he's going to try to hook my left leg with his far leg. What he's going to do is he's usually going to get to his right hip. Yeah, just like that trying to pull out, and he's going to start walking his legs.

As he starts walking that bottom leg to me, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my top leg and I'm going to hook. See how it's bringing his leg to me? I'm going to hook and I'm going to bail out. And as I bail out, I'm going to reach for his ankles. I'm going to get that good rear naked choke grip, I'm going to put my head on his toes, squeeze my knees, crunch my feet. I'm going to hip in and I'm going to turn his heel towards the sky. That's how I do the knee bar lock from scarf.
