So this is the double roll and acts great as a place card holder for your guests for your next dinner party.
So what you're going to do is you're going to start off with your square here, and you're going to fold up and down into thirds. So you have a long rectangle here. You're going to find your middle here and you're going to take the upper right-hand corner and you're going to angle it down to get a triangle. You're going to do the same on the left side, too. So now this shape looks like a tent.
So what you're going to do is you're going to flip it over. And from these two end flaps, we're going to start to roll those up. So I like to use a paper clip sometimes to actually hold the one end while I'm finishing off the other and then we can remove it in the end.
So what you're going to do is start off here, you're going to tightly roll this up until you meet the edge of the triangle. Just slip that right in there for now. So then you'll roll up on the other side. And then we're going to also flip one more time.
So from here you're going to take this bottom roll at a 45 degree angle and you're going to angle it upward to the top corner. And then now you can remove your paper clip, and now do the same on the other side.
So now you have a double roll sitting on top of a diamond shape. And you can take your place card, and again, you can just make your place card out of card stock or you could write it on a sheet of paper. You can also get some fancier papers if you want to dress up your napkin. And right in the center of the double roll, you're going to just slide in your name plate.
And this is how you would do a double roll napkin fold.
