Keeping your snake's terrarium clean is very important for its health and well-being. It can be easily achieved. Make sure that when we build a terrarium, we're building it with that in mind. Our terrarium is non-porous, glass. We have a hide box that is non-porous and easy to clean. If we're going to decorate our terrarium, make sure that the leaves and the things that you use are plastic or replaceable if you're using more natural. This way, what you can do is you can have a duplicate of all of these things.

So when it's time to clean, you put your snake in a smaller secure tank with a lock on the lid, and then all of your accessories can be very easily cleaned using a half a cup of bleach to a gallon of water, and those accessories can be cleaned, soaked in the bleach, rinsed and hung to dry. Your duplicates have already been cleaned. You rebuild the terrarium with those duplicates, put the snake back in. You're safe and sound. There are no vapors, because you've allowed everything to air out, and that is of the utmost importance. You can't use these cleaners and not let them air out because you're going to put those vapors in a closed system and it will affect their lungs, their mouth, and their eyes. It's very important, so planning cleaning of your terrarium is a very important thing.
