Now I'm going to give you guys some full twisting back layout tips. It's really important that you master all of the drills that we demonstrated for you. You really need to be a comfortable tumbler before attempting to do a full twist. It's a pretty advanced skill. Girls don't learn it until about level seven. It's a pretty advanced gymnastics skill.
You just really need to be comfortable with your body and your awareness. You need to be in good shape. You need to have strong arms, strong legs, strong core before you attempt this skill, and make sure that you have a nice bouncy surface. A tumble track is a great example of a place where you can learn a safe full, and also make sure your landing is nice and soft.
That way you don't break any bones or tear any ligaments or anything like that. You just want to keep it nice and soft, so that it's safe to mess up. A lot of people also use pits, which is foam blocks and you don't have to land on a surface at all. You can just land kind of like in a pool. Make sure your surface is really bouncy and when you land you're in a safe environment to not hurt yourself. Make sure you're a really comfortable tumbler before you attempt this skill.
