I'm going to share some quick tips on how to use coupons at the drugstore. So first off, most drugstores have loyalty programs and it's important that you're a member of that. You can get savings on your prescriptions but you can also get savings on other products that they sell. Secondly, by and large, when we think about the coupons that we cut out, a lot of them are for health and beauty products. I think somewhere like 60 percent of coupons are related to those types of products. So if you get your Sunday paper or you go online and search for grocery coupons, you'll have access to a lot of coupons on everything from money off shampoo to mascara to other makeup products.
Ultimately if you can bring those coupons to the store and stack them with any kind of loyalty program, you're going to save a lot. The other option here, and this is one that I like to use, is to go to an online drugstore. So I love drugstore.com. And I will use a coupon, usually they'll have $10 off, those types of things. Use a coupon and bulk up and buy a lot of my products at once. Usually it's enough to get free shipping. I'll save a lot more and they have a loyalty program. The combination is pretty big savings and it means once less trip out to the stores. So there's just a few tips on how to use coupons at drugstores.
