Hi. I'm Jennifer Durbin, and I've got some tips for you, if you're traveling with homemade baby food.
If you're making your own baby food, good for you, but you may be a little overwhelmed about trying to travel with the baby food. But I'm here to tell you it's really not that hard. You just need to plan ahead.
So the next time you're making a batch of baby food, make sure you fix it in the proper container. Put it in some baby cubes or a Little Green Pouch. That way it will travel easier. And make sure you freeze enough. If you freeze your baby food in an ice cube tray, all of those cubes can easily pop into a zip top bag and be transported in your cooler.
While you're traveling, keep in mind you'll need to wash out all of your containers, so make sure you take a bottle brush with you. And if you've got a Little Green Pouch, take your funnel as well.
The other great thing you can travel with are these great fresh baby feeders. You can put fruit or anything in the tip of it. Baby can chew on it for as long as they want.
So really with a little preparation, traveling with homemade baby food is a breeze.
You also want to give some thought to what you'll make on the go. There are a number of things like bananas, avocados and things along those lines that are so easy to smash on the go. So make a little list of things that you'll make while you're in your hotel room or staying with friends.
