6 Tips for Changing Diapers on the Road

Learn six tips for changing diapers on the road in this parenting video from Howcast.

Hi. I'm Jennifer Durbin, and I'm here to help with you how to change your baby's diaper on the road.

While you're on the road, you usually don't want to stop too often. That can add a lot of time to your trip, so make sure you plan pit stops where you can change your baby's diaper; and always remember to check their diaper before you leave a restaurant, or wherever you've stopped.

Now you want to keep in mind that you need to be able to grab and go; jump out of the car, run into the restroom, change the baby, and run back to the car. So always have your diaper, wipes and changing pad handy.

Consider putting them into a diaper clutch, that way you can just grab the clutch, run into the restroom, and you've got your wipes, your diapers and your changing pad, all in one hand. Super easy.

Make sure you also don't forget your necessities. Have diaper cream on hand, just in case. It's also helpful to have a zip top bag with you, just in case you're changing a diaper somewhere that doesn't have a trash bag. That way you can stuff it in your zip top bag, and throw it away the next time you come to a trash can.

With these easy tips, it's much easier to change your baby on the road.
