Crisscross into Lunge or Split Dance Move for Ladies

Hey, it’s Ashley and Henry and right now we are going to show you a little bit more of an advanced way to show off in the club for the girls.

Start with the basic, 1-2-3-5-6-7 and 1-2-3-5-6-7, 1-2-3-5-6-7 and 1.

So, now we will break that down, you're using the same concept from the easier version of showing off with the crisscross and then were going to drop down into a lunge. So you really want to make sure you're in touch with your partner because you don't want to just drop down to the floor.

Hopefully you’re dancing with someone you know pretty well, or you have danced with for a little while.

Yea and guys (?) make sure you engage your arms, and you find your comfortable position so you're comfortable because you're going to be rigid but you're going to be strong but sometimes you have to be able to feel the ladies body width so they can express themselves fully.

so coming out of your basic you're going back with the right you're going to cross over right left right left so you have 4 crosses now you're going to swivel your hips you're going to face the back and you're going to shoot the right leg out now it can be a low lunge it could just be a little stab, it's a little playful, or if you feel comfortable and you're a little more flexible you can drop all the way down. It depends on the feeling if you feel the guy is not supporting you don't go down because as a tendency you might just fall right down. so make sure you feel each other you set it up here you can communicate looking at your partner and you say ok here I go, you drop down and you come up slowly and go right back on the one.

For you guys, when your ladies are doing the drop its important that you keep connecting with the ladies and ladies you keep using your arms that way we can keep the connection, so carefully stay there and make sure you really hold the lady.

Ladies never, it's every time you partner, never pull down on the guy, ever. Watch what happens if I put all my weight into him and I lean back and I start pulling through, and then I drop, who knows what could happen, I could break a shoe, I could crash into him, I could break my heal, I could fall on the floor. It's 50-50 and it’s relaxed.

We do basic step and then we set up the ladies, and it goes 1-2-3-5-6-7, 1-2-3-5-6-7 and 1-2-5-6-7, 1. Again, the way to getting to this is the same; you invite the lady to show off, and ladies you do your parts, and when their done then you just go back to your basic step.

It's advanced but it’s relaxed so when it becomes easy, the less pressure you put on your partner.
