Hi. My name is Shane Paul Neil from City Coach Multisport and I'll be talking about what to wear from sprinting. What to wear is generally a matter of preference. Some prefer one piece body suits, others prefer spandex shorts, others prefer singlets and regular running shorts. What you want to be aware of in terms of picking your running clothes is A, freedom of movement. You don't want to have anything that's going to constrict or bind you, and limit your range of motion. B, you don't want to wear anything that's going to be overly warm. Sprinting is generally run in warm environments and anything that's either too dark or material that's too thick will cause you to overheat.
You want to avoid things like sweat pants and sweat shirts. You also want to avoid things like windbreakers or any kind of a shell which holds in your heat and sweat. All of these will result in overheating and general discomfort. You also want to be sure that there aren't an overload of seams in anything that you're wearing as it may cause chafing as well. Try ? that you plan on running in brief instances so you can see if it works for you overall. And don't ever wear anything new to a track meet or on any other competition day. And that's what to wear for sprinting.
