How to ask someone out in Russian.
One way invite to someone out would be "mojhem lee mih s vahmee vstre tsitsa". I will break that down,
"mojhem"-the first word hits the accent of the first syllable,
then its "lee",
"mih",
"s",
"vahmee"- the fifth word hits the accent on the first syllabe,
"vstre tsitsa" is the last word hits the accent on the first syllable as well. Putting it together nice and slow "mojhem lee mih s vahmee vstre tsitsa". One more time "mojhem lee mih s vahmee vstre tsitsa". Now slowely more conversationally "mojhem lee mih s vahmee vstre tsitsa". Now you try. That sounds great.
Literally that means can we possibly meet and it is a bit formal. It does mean can we go out but you might want ask somebody out one in the following fashion as well. "Yah mohgoo vas preeglaseets nah sveedhaneeye". I will break that down,
"yah" is the first word,
"mohgoo" is the second and the accent on the second syllable,
"vas",
"preeglaseets"-"preeglaseets" hits the accent on the last syllable,
"nah",
"sveedhaneeye" - the accent on that last word is on the second syllable.
Putting it altogether nice and slow "yah mohgoo vas preeglaseets nah sveedhaneeye". One more time nice and slow "yah mohgoo vas preeglaseets nah sveedhaneeye". In quicker "yah mohgoo vas preeglaseets nah sveedhaneeye". Now you try. Great, good luck with that one.
And now if you feel really selfish word you can say "I want to go out with you" and the way you did that would be "ya hochoo s vahmee vstretsitsa". Nice and slow,
"ya"
"hochoo" - hits accent on the second syllable,
"s",
"vahmee" - "vahmee" hits one the accent on the first syllable
"vstretsitsa" - is the first syllable.
Altogether "ya hochoo s vahmee vstretsitsa". One more time nice and slow "ya hochoo s vahmee vstretsitsa". And now slowly more conversationally "ya hochoo s vahmee vstretsitsa". give it a shot. Great.
That is how you ask someone out in Russian.
