How to Monitor Your Child's Development
Transcript
A great way to monitor your child's development is to go on the Center For Disease Control and Preventions website, and on their website they have a developmental milestone checklist that's easily downloadable and printable, and is a great way for you to keep track of your child's development.
Another way would be to ask your child's pediatrician for a milestone checklist. You can also keep a journal and write things down as to when your child does certain things like walking, talking, when they're able to put four word sentences together, five word sentences together, when they're able to kick a ball, or walk up and down the stairs, ride a tricycle any of these milestones, and then discuss that with your child's pediatrician in order to be sure that your child is hitting their milestones at the right time.
