Hi, my name is Victor Sho, and I'm going to show you how to do arm movements in power stepping. Okay? When you do your power stepping, you have your strolls. We have these lines right here. Basically, what I want to teach you is how to move efficiently through them so that they're precise, accurate, and strong. See here?
If you realize what makes it accurate is that I move using my joints. I do not use my whole arm. A lot of people have the habit of doing that, and it is not as clean and not as precise. You use way more energy than you need to. It's so much easier to just move with the elbow and the joints of your elbows to make the arc, to make the movement more smooth, and to make them more accurate. Okay? See here?
Okay? Understand that, when you're doing this also you want to keep your hands, your elbows, the entire arm, all at shoulder length. Very important. The reason why it's important is because not also were you doing faster power stepping, you can move efficiently, smoothly, accurately, and more powerful.
Here's a demonstration of how you do power stepping using arm movements. Slow and fast, accurate. Here we go. 5-6-7. . .
