Aaron: Hi guys. It's Aaron.

Christina: And I'm Christina.

Aaron: And we are professional dance instructors here in New York City. Today we're going to be continuing in our Foxtrot series and we're going to be talking about the promenade with the lady's underarm turn. So let's jump right in.

What we're going to be doing here is starting from our closed position with our partner doing one basic slow, slow, quick, quick. Now turning to face our promenade position and leading off with the lady's underarm turn. So the lady is going to turn over the next two steps as we walk, walk, and returning to step side, together and closing it out. So from here we can continue into our basic action or we can repeat the same pattern or just go directly into our promenade action

Let's take a look at that one more time and I'll let Christina explain the lady's turn as well, as we go.
And slow, slow, quick, quick.

Christina: So ladies, as you feel that we are turning into a promenade position if the gentleman is going to lead a turn you're going to feel your right hand go up and then sometimes he can use his right hand on your back to help send you through. So we're going to step with our right foot and we're going to turn right, left, side right, and close the left foot to meet the right foot.

Aaron: One more time. Slow, slow, quick, quick. Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow. Let's try that with music.
