Hi. I'm Alex from Warrior Fitness Boot Camp here in New York City. And I'm going to show you how to do an assisted pull up. Now, an assisted pull up you can do one of two ways. You can do it with a partner by holding your feet. Or, if you don't have a partner at the ready, you can purchase a rubber band to use to help assist in the raising of your body up to the bar. Now, all you want to do is you want to wrap the bar with the rubber band, nice and tight. Wrap it around. Loop it around itself. Okay? You are going to stand behind it and you're going to pull that band down. Get your foot up, into it, nice and steady. You want to have about the center of your foot into it. Okay? You are going to lock that leg out and all you are going to do is pull yourself up, nice and easy.
Okay? Keeping care that you are not swinging all over the place. Keep that foot locked below you and just pull and go back down. Nice and low. You can touch the ground. And just help lift your body up and down. Okay? You want to maintain a nice tight core. Just like you do in a regular pull up. Don't let it swing wildly all over the place. And really work it down and up. You can do multiple reps. Really burn those arms and that back. And really build that strength nice. Again, this is how you do an assisted pull up. Thank you.
