How to Foam Roll at Work

So how can you foam roll when you're at work? You're working a nine to five, you're surrounded by your co-workers but you're starting to stiffen up by sitting at the computer desk for longer than two hours at a time.

I don't blame you. You need to get up and you need to walk around. Chances are you're slouched over, you're at a computer desk, your shoulders are coming forward.

So what I would recommend if you're surrounded by your co-workers, you don't want to look like you're slacking off by laying on the ground doing God knows what. I would recommend taking a softball that you could put in your desk drawer.

So what you want to do is take the softball put it to your pec and just roll on the ball against your pec using the softball. This will help bring your shoulders back and alleviate any kind of tightness or pain you may be experiencing in your upper traps that might be shooting down to your lower back.

Doing this at work will be really beneficial and help get the blood flow to the areas that you need it the most. This is an efficient way to really stretch out your upper body because chances are like I said, you're probably at a desk all day. You're slouched over, your backs starting to ache.

This is a real quick way and an easy way to really stretch out and get your upper body to stretch out as well and alleviate some lower back pain that might be coming on.

If you have the lap of luxury, you have your own office and if you have the opportunity to foam roll, do it. I would recommend you foam roll as much as you can even at work. If you have the ability to foam roll at work get down, roll your quads, roll your IT bin, roll your hamstring.

These are all the important muscles, the bigger ones that usually get tight just from sitting that you wanna hit. If the foam roller is not realistic to use, you could also get the stick an easy thing that you could just hide away in your desk and just roll the quads out. Roll the IT bin out with that as well as the calves.

And those are some simple ways that you could foam roll while at work.
