How to Foam Roll When Traveling

So how do you foam roll while traveling?

When traveling, your body tenses up. You usually get very tight from sitting, whether in a car, a train, whatever it is. The best time to foam roll is right after you've been sitting for a long period of time. When you're traveling, you tend to sit a lot, so I would recommend if you're traveling overseas or wherever you're going, put something on your suitcase. That could be a soft ball, that could be a lacrosse ball, even a stick if you can fit it in. Foam roller I understand is not too realistic to bring with your while traveling.

However, these small little props you can totally bring with you while traveling. So as soon as you get to where you're going, I recommend that you hop right into the foam roller. Definitely hit the hip flexors. The hip flexors are the muscles that are going to tense up the most from sitting. So get the hip flexors, get the quads, get the [??], get your gluts. This is going to help move any kind of tightnesses and knots that have accumulated over travel throughout the body and move them out.

When traveling we also get super stressed so the body is going to tense up even more. So it's really important to bring these things with you even if it's going to be a little inconvenient. They do make smaller travel size sticks that you can bring with you in your luggage that won't take up so much space.
