So now I'm going to show you how to make a dolphin.
I'm going to take some remade blue fondant. And if you can't find it premade you can always get some white fondant and get some blue food coloring.
I'm gonna roll it into a little bigger than a golf ball size. Then 'm gonna take it and I'm going to make a tip at the end and this will be for his dolphin fins. You can make it as long as you want. So now what I'm gonna doing at the end of the tip, just going to pinch it an then bring them out. Those will be for his fins. Then I'm going to do the same thing at the top of his body. And them I'm going to do the same thing at the sides, like so.
So now I'm going to do his mouth. Which, at the front, I'm going to just pull a little bit just so we have a nice, long mouth that dolphins have. And I'm going to flatten it just a little bit. And then with a small scissor, which you can also find at a craft store, I'm going to not cut all the way through. Just going to cut just to make a dent and then I'm going to do the same at the top of the mouth. So he has a nice little dolphin face.
I'm going to lay him down.
And I'm going to take a ball size tool for his eyes. Then I'm going to take our water, which is our glue, put them in the dents we just made. Then I'm going to take some white pearls and lay them there. And with a blue edible marker I'm going to make his eyes. And this dolphin will be really fun for a first birthday or any other kid's birthday.
Now I'm going to take our dolphin. And just so he looks like he's moving on the cake, I'm going to just take him and make him look like he's jumping out of the water. Then I'm going to take a rolling pin and lay him right there so that he can dry overnight.
And then he's ready in the morning to put on your cake or a fun birthday party or any other party.
