How to Do the Soccer Wall Pass Give & Go

Learn how to do the wall pass give and go from Coach Frank Hauser in this Howcast soccer video.

The wall pass is an excellent way to beat a defender, without taking the risk of dribbling. The advantage over the dribbling is that you don't have to take as many risks, the level of ball control that is required is minimized, and you can focus on just a nice pass, and to move into the open space after you pass.

The idea is to dribble hard to the defender, but instead of going into a dribbling, you use a teammate that is checking in helping you out on the side, and you pass the ball to your teammate while running on the opposite of the defender, into the open space. Once you pass the ball to the defender and keep moving, you're going to be able to receive the ball in the open space back here from your teammate, and both only require two touches to actually get in the open space and have the defender beat them.
