People ask me a lot, do cellulite wraps really work? Honestly, I've had them done. I've done them as a young aesthetician. The truth is that the effects are so temporary, I'm not really sure it's worth doing it in the first place. As an aesthetician with my own salon in New York city, I don't do them. I don't offer them to clients. I think you're going to start to gain that water weight back immediately. Cellulite wraps really just make you sweat. You sweat out some toxins. It's really temporary.
I would recommend instead of that, go to the sauna and hang out in there with a girlfriend. You'll be reducing your cellulite and it will be a lot less restricting. It will actually be more effective. You'll sweat more in a sauna than you would in a cellulite wrap. If you want to relax, and have a good time wrapped up for an hour listening to relaxing music at a spa, then go for it.
If you're really looking for a solution to get rid of cellulite, even in the short term, I think there are other treatments that are better than cellulite wraps. I hope that clears that up and I hope you have a good time with whatever you decide.
