I had a client that suddenly developed cystic acne and she came to me, of course, because she wanted to know how to get rid of it. The first thing that we talked about was diet. What was she eating that was causing the problem to begin with? Many of you may not know, but diet directly affects your skin. If you're eating something that your body can't digest, the body, as an emergency solution, will try to push it out through your skin. After all, your skin is just a filter.

She was eating very healthy. She was training for a marathon, but one thing she was eating a lot of. Banana and peanut butter sandwiches. He body didn't know what to do with that, so its solution was to push it out through her skin. The second she stopped eating those, her cystic acne went away. Diet is a huge component in the treatment of cystic acne. Another thing that I recommend is to think about your lymphatic system more.

Your lymphatic system doesn't have its own pump and yet it's responsible for carrying away waste and delivering nutrients all over your body, including your face. If your body can't heal itself via the lymphatic system, you're gonna have acne, so you have to eat foods that stimulate your lymphatic system. Salads, specifically spinach and kale, are really awesome at stimulating your lymphatic system, getting your body to function better and you'll soon see that your cystic acne will go away. I hope that helps and those, like I said, are my two top recommendations for treating cystic acne.
