Women ask me all the time how can I get rid of a blackhead at home when I'm in between my facial appointments? While I don't approve of anybody extracting their skin at home, I understand that sometimes you just have to do it.
This is my recommendation. Do it right when you get out of the shower. Your shower is going to kind of steam your face, it's going to soften whatever is inside your pores and kind of prep the skin for your. I would also exfoliate first. I prefer exfoliating in the shower because it's sort of like a quick scrub with steam. It's kind of like having a facial.
When you get out of the shower I would take two Q-tips instead of your fingers because fingers have fingernails and you'll make a mark. So you want to take two Q-tips around the sides of the blackhead and gently push down and under that blackhead until you work it out for yourself.
If it fights you, please don't start digging with your fingernails. Leaving a mark on your face is going to be way worst than a tiny little blackhead on your face until your next facial. Try to remember that, please.
So remember, in the shower first exfoliate and then use Q-tips instead of your fingers and you'll have a lt of success with that.
