A lot of women have concern with puffiness in the eyes and I find the best way to get rid of puffiness is kind of an old wives' tale, slices of cucumber for 10 minutes over the eye area.
What I recommend is that you peel a cucumber first and then slice it. Peeling it first will allow the cucumber slices to really sit on the surface of your eyes more flatly than if they had that stiff skin on them. Sit for 10 minutes and it's kind of amazing how much it reduces inflammation. Actually, cucumbers are also awesome because they contain silica, which is really amazing for your elasticity in the eye area. So while you're reducing puffiness, you're working on your elasticity. What more can you ask for?
If you don't have a cucumber, my secondary solution is take two chamomile tea bags, boil them and let them cool down and take the two wet bag and put one on each eye and sit for 10 minutes. Chamomile is also great at reducing inflammation, which will cause puffiness in the eye area. It's great because it will also take the redness out and you'll be ready to put make-up on and start your day in 10 minutes.
